So many young players think rhythm is just a banal little beast waiting to be put out of its misery. Later that same year, Honey Child was chosen as the best-unsigned band in Arizona and featured in the book Jam Bands, North America’s Hottest Live Groups(Dean Budnick, ECW Press). They also won the first national Band2Band Combat and appeared on the HORDE Tour.

Arizona’s Get Out Magazine wrote, “You could toss a stone these days and hit a jam band, but you’d throw your arm out before you would hit one like Honey Child.”
